I have no art experience, would these workshops be suitable for me?

Definitely yes!  Even if you can’t draw a straight line, the combination of our sketching technique and the sketch kit means you’ll be producing some great sketches in no time!

What should I bring with me?

Travel Sketching means we sketch rain or shine. Bring a big umbrella if it looks like rain, and a sun hat if you feel the heat.

What should I wear?

Comfortable shoes are advised as we’ll be doing a bit of walking, so a reasonable level of fitness is also a good idea.

Are these classes suitable for children?

Not really. Unless it’s otherwise indicated in the description, our workshops are planned for adults.  Teenagers can participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

What happens if I can’t make the class?

If you enrol for a New Sketchers class but are unable to attend a class for any reason, an alternative date may be offered but cannot be guaranteed.

How can I pay?

We accept payment by bank transfer, Paypal or French cheque.  Full payment for all courses must be made at least 3 working days before the course takes place.

Can I bring my own set of paints?

Unless indicated otherwise, all ErinHill workshops use the customised Sketch Kit as supplied.

Can I bring my dog?

We love dogs but we don’t recommend bringing dogs to our classes – they can be a distraction to other students and some of our sketching workshops occasionally take place in locations where dogs are not permitted.
